On Friday, May 3, the Brentwood Morning Rotary will hold its 17th Annual Concert Fundraiser event.
The concert will begin at 7 p and will be held at Brentwood High School Performing Arts Center located at 5304 Murray Lane, Brentwood.
Four songwriters will perform during the concert event which includes Brian White, Billy Montana, Phil Barton, and Donny Wells each with claiming songwriting credits for hitmakers Rodney Atkins, George Strait, Garth Brooks, and Collin Raye.
White is a veteran in the music industry who at one time fronted the band “Brian White & Justice” for 15 years. His career as a songwriter has earned him sixteen number one hits as well as Billboard’s Most Played Song of the Year for Rodney Atkins “Watching You” a song that was also listed as one of “100 Greatest Country Songs of all Time” and topped the chart as “The Most Played Country Song of the Decade.”
Other artists who have recorded songs written by White include Danny Gokey, Kutless, 7eventh Time Down, Avalon, Point of Grace, Mandisa, 4 Him, Larnelle Harris, Karyn Williams, Selah, All Star United, 33 Miles, Pure NRG, Jaci Velasquez, and Cliff Richard. Brian has also experienced success in the Country and Pop market with his songs being recorded by Rascal Flatts, Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins, The Swon Brothers, Steve Holy, Earl Scruggs, Terri Clark, Kix Brooks, Blackhawk, Canadian Country stars – Chad Brownlee, Tim Hicks, Brett Kissel, The Lovelocks, Livy Jeanne as well as Russian Pop Star Avraam Russo and many others.
