The middle school cross-country season has come to an end, and Brentwood Middle School has swept the competition. Both the girls and boys cross-country teams won the Williamson Middle Athletics Association Cross-Country Championships on September 19.

“I am extremely proud that our runners were able to meet their goal of winning the WMAA Championship,” said BMS cross-country coach Nathan Cummings.

The wins come after a season of hard work from the teams. The eighth grade runners played a vital role in being successful, said Cummings.

“Our eighth graders have really demonstrated their leadership and have been great role models to our other runners,” said Cummings. “It has been great seeing a family mentality within our team.”
