Tennessee is ranked one of the least healthiest states, what’s worse this has been the case for the past twenty years.  Because of this, we are now facing an epidemic of preventable chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and certain types of cancer. This information is from the Centers for Disease Control Findings.

The statistics don’t lie and Tennesseans have got to learn tools for prevention. The saddest statistic of all is in regard to how many children in our state are obese and at risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes.

The Brentwood Library is located at 8109 Concord Road Brentwood, TN  37027. To read more about the programs and services offered, click here.
