Brentwood Library Call Out for Local Authors

Brentwood Library

Join local authors at the “Local Author Book Fair” on Sunday, August 23rd from 1-5 p.m. at the Brentwood Library. If you, or someone you know is a local author wanting to introduce your work to the Brentwood community, this is your opportunity. And for those local readers who enjoy interacting and talking to authors, you need to save the date.

If interested in participating in the event, contact Brigid Day at [email protected]. Space is limited and as a featured author it mandatory to attend if participating.
”We are accepting authors right now and will do so until we run out of space by August 15th, whichever comes first. Some featured authors will have a chance to speak for 20-30 minutes and we have one workshop planned for midday,” explained Day.
Authors will be provided a table to meet and greet, and sell copies of their books. Authors will also have an opportunity to register for a 30 minute segment to read from their book and respond to audience questions.

Two years ago the Author event was held, and was highly successful, however sadly the program coordinator passed away last year and the library did not host. Holding this year will hopefully get the “ball rolling” Day shared so that the event can be an annual affair.
