Brentwood is kicking off the “unofficial start to summer” on Friday May 25 with a Movie in the Park. Disney’s Coco will be shown on a big screen starting at 7pm at the Eddy Arnold Amphitheatre in Crockett Park located on Volunteer Parkway. Food trucks will arrive at 5pm and serve pizza, ice cream and shaved ice. Local Latin artist, Alison Brazil, will also perform live music prior to the movie. The city would like to thank Audi of Nashville for sponsoring the movie in the park night.
City of Brentwood also announces the 2018 Brentwood Summer Concert Series band lineup. Rubiks Groove, an “Out of the Box” Live 80s & 90s Dance Party- will kick off the concert series at Crockett Park on Sunday, May 27 from 7-9pm. The band proved to be a crowd favorite during their first Brentwood appearance in 2017.

Nearly 20,000 people attend the summer concert series each year. Fan favorites like The South Street Players, The WannaBeatles, and The Kadillacs will all return. Three new bands, 12 South, Dangerous Dan & The Funk Town Horns, and the Nashville Yacht Club will wrap up the 2018 season. The Nashville Symphony is not a part of this year’s lineup due to a change in its program schedule, the City hopes to see them return in 2019. Innovative Precision Technology will be providing the audio services.
Brentwood Commissioner Ken Travis, who attends several concerts each year said, “If you have never attended a Brentwood Summer Concert, please make this the summer you visit Crockett Park. This unique Brentwood music experience is fun for the entire family.”
