The citizens of Brentwood will have a chance to voice their suggestions and concerns this month for a traffic study being conducted by the City of Brentwood in association with Metro/Davidson County.
The study is being conducted in order to evaluate traffic counts and signal effectiveness at 35 Brentwood intersections, and to make improvements to traffic flow along the Old Hickory Boulevard corridor in southern Davidson County and the Maryland Way and Franklin Road corridors in Brentwood.
The meeting will be held on February 24 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Brentwood Academy theater, 219 Granny White Pike. Enter directly at the Bell Tower at the front of the building facing Granny White Pike and the theater is to the left.
There will be a short introductory presentation by the traffic consultant followed by break-out groups to allow individuals to ask questions and provide input. Contact Mike Harris, Director of Engineering for the City of Brentwood at 615-371-0080 with any questions.
