Brentwood Hockey Playing in National Tournament

by Zachary Harmuth

The Brentwood Bruins hockey team played a first round game in the USA Hockey Division II National Tournament versus Waterloo, Iowa on Wednesday.

While the Bruins lost, 9-4, they are still in the hunt and play again against Omaha in the second round Thursday night.

If they lose, they are out, but if they win they earn a shot to play in the loser’s bracket, from which the best team will play for the championship.

In the game on Wednesday, Bruin Noah Kinsky scored two goals, with Matthew Chalkley and Andrew Sinard adding one apiece.

The game against tourny-host Omaha starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
