Spring Signing Day took place at Brentwood High School on Wednesday, April 15th, 2015.  There were six  students who signed to continue their athletic careers into college.
Each student that signed had their own table appropriately decorated to represent their college complete with snacks for the students who were there to participate in signing day. Â As each student signed their papers, each student and family seemed emotional knowing that high school will soon be over and it will be a new team and group of friends that will they will continue their career. Â One student, Rose Lobelson, asked the Athletic Director and her coach to sit with her at the table for signing. Â Lobelson’s father lost his battle to cancer during the Thanksgiving holiday. Â Her two sisters, one in New York and the other at UTK could not be there for signing so she asked her coaches to sit in as her family. Â The entire track community has taken Lobelson under their wing as she has faced a difficult challenge in life. Â Lobelson’s father an active parent volunteer for the track team.
