Brentwood Fine Dining Restaurant Closes After 20 Years

Wild Iris Brentwood

One of the first fine dining restaurants in Brentwood is closing after over 20 years in business. Wild Iris, a full-service chef-driven restaurant on Franklin Road, has closed its doors.

A sign posted on the door reads:

We have closed our doors for business.

We are so grateful for all these 22 years of being a part of this exciting Brentwood community.

Thank you all for your generosity, kind words, and support!

The Wild Iris was a Brentwood favorite, known for its signature Wild Iris salad served with dried cherries and candied walnuts, and its southern comfort food. It was also a mainstay on the Nashville Originals restaurant week. The restaurant was owned locally by Gep and Katie Nelson who also own The Yellow Porch at 734 Thompson Lane, Nashville.

At this time we don’t have any information as to what will occupy the Wild Iris spot, keep checking back here for updates.

Wild Iris was located at 127 Franklin Road, Brentwood.
