Brentwood Asks for Public Input on Bike and Pedestrian Issues

City of Brentwood

The Brentwood Bike and Pedestrian Ad Hoc Committee will host a public input meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Brentwood Library on Tuesday, January 26. In addition to the January 26 meeting, the Committee is also conducting an online survey to allow for additional public input. The survey is available at www.brentwood-tn.org/bikepedsurvey.

The Bike and Pedestrian Ad Hoc Committee was created by the City in June of 2015 and given the task of developing recommendations for the short-term and long-term improvement and expansion of bicycle and pedestrian facilities and programs in Brentwood.

The public input meeting is intended to give residents an opportunity to voice their ideas about improving bicycle and pedestrian facilities in the community. Maps will be available showing already existing and planned facilities, and participants will have the opportunity to indicate areas of the City where improvements are needed.

Interested parties may direct questions to Kirk Bednar, City Manager, at 615-371-0060.
