Brentwood Academy running back Tomario Pleasant scored three touchdowns, as the Eagles routed McCallie, 46-24 in Chattanooga on Friday.

Quarterback Gavin Schoenwald added three touchdown passes to Camron Johnson, as the Eagles (7-0) stayed unbeaten.

With the Eagles leading by seven at half, Schoenwald and Johnson hooked up on a 72-yard scoring pass to extend the lead.

Later in the third quarter, the two Vanderbilt commitments hooked up for another touchdown pass.

Leading 7-3 in the first half after a Schoenwald-to-Johnson scoring strike, the Eagles’ Kenyon Garlington picked off a pass, then, BA’s Pleasant added a 67-yard touchdown run.

McCallie got on the board with a touchdown, but Pleasant added a 1-yard run, making it 21-10.

Following Airin Spell’s fumble recovery, Toby Wilson’s field goal later in the first half put BA by a 24-10 score, and McCallie later cut the lead to seven at the half.

Linebacker Jackson Sirmon, a Washington commitment, had a second-half interception for the Eagles.

BA has next week off before a game at Montgomery Bell Academy on Oct. 20.
