Brentwood Academy showed off their muscle last night as they took down the Irish of Father Ryan by a score of 21-3.
The Eagles started off the scoring as Quarterback Thomas Swafford hit Cameron Johnson for a big reception to put the Eagles up 7-0.
The Irish had a chance to respond, as Cameron Towns tried to find Bryce Vickers in the Endzone, but was broken up at the last minute; Father Ryan would hit a field goal to make it 7-3.
In the second half Father Ryan Defensive End Joejuan Williams would have his second interception in two games to give the Irish the ball with great field position. It was short lived however, as Aaquil Annoor would intercept Towns and return it for six. After the point after it would be 14-3 Eagles.
That was just one of the Irish’s 4 turnovers in the game.
The Eagles would score again later to make it 21-3, which would be the final score.
Next weekend The Brentwood Academy Eagles welcome the Bombers of St. Xavier from Cincinnati, a powerhouse team in the Midwest.
Father Ryan will try to recover as they visit the Hilltoppers of Hillwood High School.
