In an across the state line bout, Brentwood Academy (ranked #2 in State, #47 Nationally according to Max Preps) traveled to Olive Branch, Mississippi and soared to a huge victory Saturday night.
Brentwood Academy Offense Too Much For Conquistadors
After two FGs from Brentwood Academy’s Wray, including a 42 yarder, Prince Momudu took it to the house on a 68 yard TD run. Olive Branch then turned the ball over twice in the second quarter, one on a blocked punt, and then on a fumble and Brentwood Academy had a 41-0 lead to end the first half.
Prince Momudu had 2 TDs. Eagles QB Jeremiah Oatsvall went 4-7 for 103 yards and 2 TDS. Defensively , Max Mullen had 7 tackles and a sack for the Eagles and Baylor Segree had a 24 yd. TD on the blocked punt.
Up next for the Brentwood Academy Eagles is a home game with 23-time State Champ Trinity Rocks. Trinity defeated Ensworth 45-0 in Week 1 and are ranked 45th nationally according to Max Preps.
