Boy’s Soccer is kicking off in Tennessee. Below is a look back at how Williamson County teams did last year, and a preview of this season. To keep up with scores and schedules, make sure to check out our local scoreboard all season long.

D-I AAA

District 11:

BHS– Last year: 8-4-6 last year (1-1-3 in District 11) and lost to Ravenwood in district semifinals.
This year: at White House Tues. at 7 p.m. Defenseman Austin Petrovich will play for ETSU next year

Centennial– Last year: 6-6-3 (1-2-2) lost to Franklin in districts.
This year: opens season Tues. home vs LaVergne at 7 p.m. Big Games: at Indy 3/13; hosts Franklin on 4/15.

Franklin– Last year: 18-0-2 (5-0 in district) and AAA State Champs.
This year: opener Weds. at MBA at 6:30 p.m. Won both its pre-season scrimmages this year. Look for big things. Plays Brentwood on March 28 at home in first District match.

Indy– Last year: 7-5-4 (1-2-2), lost to Centennial in Districts first round.
This year: plays 6:30 p.m. Weds. in rematch at Centennial. Playing well in this game could set a positive tone with implications for the whole season. Other big game: vs Spring Hill 3/25.

Ravenwood– Last year: 8-4-4 (3-1-1), lost in first game of state tourny.
This year:  at home vs Donelson Christian Academy 7 p.m. Thurs. Big game- 4/4 at
Franklin, who gave the Raps 3 of their 4 losses last year.

Summit– Last year: 10-7-1 (in Class A-AA), lost to CPA in sectional.
This year: Moved up in class to AAA, and plays 5 p.m. Tues. at home vs Smyrna. First game against a team in its new District on 3/27 at Franklin.

D-I A-AA

District 12:

CPA– Last year: 19-5 overall, lost to Kingsbury in State A-AA semifinals.
This year: the Lions visit Station Camp for a 6:30 p.m. game on Mon.; then play 3 games in three days  on the 13th-15th at a tourny hosted by Baylor.

Page– Last year: 10-7-2 overall, lost to Giles Co. in first round of regionals.
This year: play on Tues. home at 7 p.m. versus Lipscomb Academy; on 4/4 they have a rematch against Giles Co.

Spring Hill– Last year: 13-2-1, lost to Giles Co. in District semifinals.
This year: play at Hickman Co. on Tues. at 7 p.m.; look for another excellent season from forward A.J. Smith, who made All-State last year a junior. He averaged almost 2 goals a game, most in the state.

District 11:
Fairview– Last year: 13-6-1, lost to Giles Co. in District Championship but still advanced to regionals, losing to Summit in first round.
This year: hosts Harpeth 7 p.m. on Tues.; ends season with two tough games: 4/22 at BA, 4/24 vs Giles Co. Expect more good things.

D-II A
FRA– Last year: 8-7-3, lost to DCA in D-II A regional first round.
This year: has upcoming back-to-back tough games, vs BA 6 p.m. Tues. and at Ensworth 4 p.m. Weds.

BGA– Last year: 4-8-5, lost to Father Ryan in state semifinals.
This year: plays PJPII Tues., and ends season with three tough games: vs Page, Franklin and MBA.

D-II AA
BA– Last year: 7-10-1, and despite going winless in its region, it played better than its record against a very tough schedule
This year: plays FRA 6 p.m. Tues., with next home game on Thurs. vs University School of Nashville; expect BA’s record to more closely reflect its talent and ability this year

Father Ryan– Last year: 13-4-3, beat MBA and won DII AA State Championship.
This year: plays Hendersonville 7 p.m on Tues.. Its hardest game might be its last, 4/28 at Franklin at 6:30 p.m. Either way, two state Champs from different Divisions playing each other is a game to keep on your calender.
