Local Boy Scout Troop 16 held their Eagle Scout Court of Honor earlier in April at Epworth United Methodist Church on Arno Road. The Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony recognized the Troop’s scouts who achieved the rank of Eagle Scout during 2015.
The Eagle award is the embodiment of Scouting’s best efforts and beliefs. Eagle Scouts have distinguished themselves through their continued performance of active service in Scouting and exemplify the five Eagle Scout responsibilities of living with honor, loyalty, courage, cheerfulness, and service. Five outstanding young men from Troop 16 achieved the rank of Eagle Scout: Tristan Garrison, Gideon Morris, Logan Paul, Thomas Powell and Joshua Sadler.
