BoomBozz Pushes Opening Date Back in Spring Hill

BoomBozz

A very popular Louisville pizza restaurant announced recently that it will open its Spring Hill location in The Crossings in January.

In December, award-winning Kentucky-based small chain  BoomBozz Craft Pizza and Taphouse, announced it would open on January 22. However, due to perfecting some last-minute construction and other kinks common to any business opening, the restaurant pushed its grand opening one week to Monday, January 29 it announced over the weekend.

Last Spring Boombozz, a gourmet beer and pizza place, at 2044 Crossings Circle South, near Jonathan’s Grille, had plans approved to open in Spring Hill in The Crossings.

Turnberry Land Company built the 5,176 square foot restaurant on the 0.82 acre site.

BoomBozz will also serve brunch, and feature dishes like stuffed waffles and breakfast pizzas.

Behind the bar, they will have 24 taps and a wider selection of bottled beers. Everything from tiny microbrews to the usual staples will find a home in their cooler.

BoomBozz has locations in Louisville, Indianapolis, and one coming to East Nashville. Established in 1998, BoomBozz won “Best Gourmet Pizza” at the American Pizza Championship and a three International Pizza Expo awards.

They have been featured in several major magazine and newspapers, like Food Network Magazine, BusinessWeek, Fast Casual Magazine and more. They’ve also won a handful of awards and when Food Network Magazine set out to find the 50 best pizzas in all 50 states in 2011, they named BoomBozz the best pizza in Kentucky. The editors were won over by the Pollotate pie – a mash-up of the Italian words for chicken and potato – whose crust is brushed with rosemary-garlic olive oil, then topped with chicken breast, red onions, roasted potatoes and lots of asiago and mozzarella cheese.
