The Spring Hill location for Books-A-Million will close on Sunday, January 16, confirmed owner Brandon Porter.

Located at 1040 Crossings Boulevard in The Crossings of Spring Hill, we reached out to Books-A-Million corporate who stated, “Yes, unfortunately, it’s true that our Books-A-Million store in Springhill, TN, is closing. We have loved serving the community there over the past 13 years and were disappointed when the landlord didn’t allow us to renew our lease in that location.”

They are encouraging local shoppers to visit the store in Murfreesboro or one of their Nashville locations.

We reached out to Colliers International Retail Services who is handling leasing at The Crossings of Spring Hill who stated the Books-A-Million spot has been leased but would not provide the new retailer who will take over the spot.

  1. Whoever is managing the Crossings is doing a terrible job. They’ve lost many businesses in the past couple years.

  2. Just what we need. Another crappy clothing store. Old Navy is what I’ve heard.

  3. This sucks! I believe this was the only bookstore here. Now I’ll have to go to Franklin or wherever. I hope they can find a new location here. What about that new strip mall up the street from Food Lion?

  4. Doesn’t matter. Everything here in Spring Hill Crossings sucks. Don’t even get me started on their horrible AMC theater which still hasn’t upgraded its benefits to coincide with EVERY.SINGLE.OTHER AMC theater in the area. Not to mention the chain restaurants all around who regularly change their hours but neglect to update on Google. Just take the extra 20 mins and drive up to Cool Springs. They have everything up there, including better quality and service. And Barnes and Noble was way better than Books a Million anyway. Screw the Crossings.

  5. Your complaining about business’s who for the last 2yrs have been struggling to remain open with the ridiculous covid mandates and bloated government handouts. Resturants are day to day with having enough employees to serve the clients. How about you quit complaining and go out and give support to your local business’s

  6. Ohooo,I loved shopping at Books – A- Million. I still have gift cards to use, now,I suppose must order in line or travel the long distance to Nashville. It is really a shame; their books prices were great,so was their service. The store will be missed by many. It would be nice if the y would/ could open a new store close to Spring Hill. Ursula
