Bonnaroo Arrestees to Jump Through Legal Hoops

People arrested at this year’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival won’t get any special treatment from law enforcement.

Coffee County’s new district attorney announced anyone arrested or cited during the four-day festival will have to go to court in the county.

In years past, travelers who had gotten in trouble could pay a fine to have those charges dismissed.

According to the Tullahoma News, District Attorney Craig Northcott said those people will have to go through the court system just like anyone else.

Last year, nearly 260 people were cited at the festival and 60 of them were arrested.
