Bombay Bistro Closes in Franklin, New Restaurant Moving In

Mysore Palace

Bombay Bistro, located at 9040 Carothers Parkway in Franklin, has closed. On their Facebook page was a message to their patrons.

Bombay Bistro

Bombay Bistro opened back in 2008 featuring Indian cuisine and handcrafted cocktails. At this time there are no details regarding their new location.

The vacated restaurant now has a sign on the building that says Mysore Palace – Indian Vegetarian Cuisine.

On the Mysore Palace website, it states they are “specialists in all types of Indian vegetarian & vegan foods.”

The website goes on to say, “Chef Madhusoodhan Naik was influenced from his childhood by his parents’ and grandparents’ long service in the restaurant industry. His goal is to continue the same tradition of service and quality that his parents carried out.”

The restaurant advertises a daily lunch buffet that changes each day. The menu items posted on the website are all vegetarian with a large selection of gluten-free items. It also features soups, appetizers, entrees, a selection of crepes along with a kids menu.

We have reached out to learn more about when Mysore Palace will open but have yet to receive a response. Keep checking back here for more information.
