In April, Blue Bell Ice Cream recalled its entire line of products and stopped production due to a listeria outbreak. In total, 10 listeria confirmed cases of listeria, 3 of which resulted in death. Since then, Blue Bell has made changes to their facilities and earlier this month,they were given the okay to start production at their facility in Alabama.
Monday, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Blue Bell Creameries released this video, announcing that their ice cream would be available beginning Aug 31st in select cities.
Beginning Aug 31st, you can find Blue Bell Ice Cream in select cities in Texas and Alabama. You can click here to stay up-to-date on when Blue Bell will be available near you. Unfortunately, for Tennesseans, it’s not clear when we will see this favorite ice cream brand in our area stores.
