Jackson State made an error in the bottom of the first and Columbia State capitalized on it, scoring six runs in the frame.

Walker led CSCC with 3 hits in the contest and Jake McDougal got the win going 5 solid innings for the Chargers striking out 5 General batters.
The win makes it 23 out of the last 27 times Columbia State has left the field with a victory.
