Big 1st Inning Leads to Another Charger Win

The Generals would cut the lead to 3 at 7-4 with a 4 run top of the sixth but the Chargers would deliver the knockout blow in the bottom of the eighth with two big insurance runs.

Walker led CSCC with 3 hits in the contest and Jake McDougal got the win going 5 solid innings for the Chargers striking out 5 General batters.

The win makes it 23 out of the last 27 times Columbia State has left the field with a victory.

They are back in action today with a double-header against Martin Methodist.
