Battle Ground Academy quarterback Nick Semptimphelter hit Antonio Stevens with four touchdown passes in the first 16 minutes, lifting the Wildcats to a 51-14 first-round playoffs win over Silverdale Baptist Academy on Friday.

Semptimphelter was 10 of 13 for 270 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions. Stevens caught five of them for 152 yards.

Briston Bennett added five carries for 61 yards. Trace Adams led the defense with 7 1/2 tackles, with 1 1/2 for loss.

The Wildcats (9-2) advance to the Division II Class AA quarterfinals, where they’ll travel to Knoxville Webb (6-5), which defeated Chattanooga Christian, 48-27. That game will take place next Friday starting at 6 Central.

Semptimphelter and Stevens connected on scoring tosses of 24, 48, 32 and 33 yards, and Kaleb Seay added a 6-yard scoring run with 8:53 left in the second quarter. Jack Sauder added the extra points, helping BGA to a quick 35-0 advantage.

Sauder added a 20-yard field goal with 3:56 left before half.

Semptimphelter picked up where he’d left off, finding Chico Bennett for a 64-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter.

The Seahawks got third-and fourth-quarter touchdowns. But BGA answered the last with Sean Williams’ 71-yard kickoff return score.

Williams, Stevens and Zach Flores each had an interception for BGA.
