Battle Ground Academy could not be at a better place halfway through the season.

The undefeated Wildcats got a big, bad win last Friday against Page, in a nail-biting 28-27 instant classic.

BGA on to the Next One

Now they have their homecoming game on Friday agaisnt Davidson.

Here is what Roc Batten, BGA head coach, had to say about the game:

We are excited for our alumni returning to campus this week and reflecting on their BGA experience, but our team focus is preparing for a very talented Davidson team.  They are playing really well and play very disciplined football.  This will be a great match-up as we move into our first district game.

Davidson (3-1) is a Division II-A opponent for the Wildcats, making it a doubly important game.

BGA is averaging just shy of 34 points per game, a lot of offense. They give up a little less than 17 points per game- a well rounded team.

Davidson also averages about 34 points per game but gives up about 20.

It could be a tough game for BGA, but we will definitely hear from quarterback Clayton Beathard.

Beathard is having an outstanding year so far. He has thrown for nearly 1500 yards and 15 touchdowns, against only 5 interceptions, a pretty-ridiculous 300 yards and 3 touchdowns per game.

His favorite target, star receiver Marcus Cawthorne, has 512 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Make sure to follow the game live on our Scoreboard, and all other Williamson County action.
