Behind 543 yards of total offense and another great night from two-way star Kane Patterson, Christ Presbyterian handed Battle Ground Academy its first loss of the year by a surprising 44-14 score.

The Lions’ Same West also ran for 107 yards on 14 carries.

CPA took a 14-7 lead early behind Kane Patterson’s 60-yard touchdown run and Bryce McCormick’s touchdown catch.

Patterson’s 30-yard scoring run late in the first half extended the lead to 24-7.

McCormick added seven stops on defense, and West also had two.

CPA kicker Sebastian Stubblefield added six extra points and a 32-yard field goal.

BGA’s Matt Ligon had six tackles, and Conner Mitchell, five. Oliver Reese (four catches, 64 yards) and Jack Jewell (seven for 53) led the Wildcat offense.
