It was a tough afternoon with :10 seconds left and the BGA Wildcats attempt at a comeback fell short with a missed 3 and a block . USJ took the lead early and BGA never got over the hump as the Wildcat Girls fell to University School of Jackson Friday afternoon at Lipscomb University 34-31.
USJ really beat BGA with their inside game including 18 points in the paint. Neither team shot particularly well as USJ shot just over 25% and BGA at 23%. BGA was led by 2 shooters as Cowie dropped in 10 and Daniel scored 8.
USJ will take on Northpoint Christian next for the Championship tomorrow.
