BGA’s defense was dominant against a St. Benedict offense that has yet to score this season. It gave up just 250 yards of total offense to the Eagles and forced two turnovers. The Wildcats also came up with a safety after a SBA punt attempt.

Julian Craig and Bo Jewell led the way with eight tackles apiece for the Wildcats, while Jack Jewell had BGA’s interceptions.

Offensively, BGA was led by quarterback Drew Martin. He connected on 11 of 19 passes for 219 yards and three touchdowns without a turnover. Kel Hawkins, Oliver Reese and Joseph Pasley all caught TD passes, and Jaylen Frierson and Jake Holloway added rushing scores.

The Wildcats’ defense, which has given up just 21 points in three games, will hope to continue its dominance in Week 4 at Westview. The Chargers have scored 20 points in three losses so far this season.
