Old Hickory Lake

Old Hickory Lake, part of the Cumberland River system that has dams and locks, is another great regional place to wakeboard.

You can lock through in a wake boat and make it all the way to downtown Nashville, boarding where the lake opens up.  Most of the time the river is deep enough so, unlike at Percy Priest, for instance, you don’t have to worry or be with someone who knows the water extremely well to stay safe.

Also check out the river it’s another hidden secret. Here in Clarksville thats all we ride. It’s plenty deep and always find glass.. The water can get trashy but usually just fine. Water can be cold but by June it’s very comfy. Don’t listen to everyone who says the rive
