Phase 1 of this undertaking will include 70,000 square feet of retail space and commercial outparcel lots are currently available for purchase or lease. The neighborhood portion is called Hughes Mill and offers town-homes, cottage, village, (traditionally designed 1 and 2 story homes) and custom homes. An onsite pool house called “the Plunge,” an organic garden and parks within walking distance are all planned for the community.
The history of this land is what is important to preserve for the Berry’s. Since the early 1800’s the family has lived and thrived on this land. The Civil War unfolded on part of this property in at least three skirmishes. “It is very important that those who move to Berry Farms to know the deep history of the land, and to enjoy living there as much as I did when I was a child. There is no more special place than Berry Farms for living, making memories, and building a future,” explained Avalyn Berry Swain a direct descendant of the original settlers.

Her ancestral home built in 1830 stands preserved on the property as a testament to the long and cherished history her family has with this land. Model homes will be complete by August and you could move in as early as fall. Builders working within this property include Regent Homes, Celebration Homes, Ford Custom Classic Homes, and Gregg & Rains Building Group. Check out their flip book or visit them online.
