Visit Franklin has expanded its sales department with the addition of Sales Manager, Ben Eggebeen. He comes to Visit Franklin from Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, where he served as Event and Tour Sales Manager.
“Ben has tremendous experience working in tour and travel sales, and we are excited to have him join the Visit Franklin team,” said Visit Franklin President & CEO Ellie Westman Chin. “He has deep relationships in the tourism industry and will be a great advocate to bring additional meetings, conventions, and events to Franklin and Williamson County.”
In the five years Eggebeen was at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage event sales increased 25 percent and he planned, designed, and executed events for several national corporations, United States Senators, and The National Governors Association among others.
Eggebeen’s career in the hospitality and service industry began when he served in managerial roles within the Applebee’s Franchise Group and Starbucks Coffee Company. At both, he was instrumental in producing marked increases in sales through the management and training of staff.
A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Eggebeen also enjoys competing in triathlon competitions and is a member of the American Bus Association and Crieve Hall Neighborhood Association.
