The Tennessee Department of Transportation is making modifications to the existing interchange at Interstate 65 and State Route 248 (Goose Creek Bypass) in the City of Franklin and Williamson County. The State Route 248 is a two lane roadway and is classified as a major arterial from Interstate 65 to the west and a minor collector east of Interstate 65. The interchange is situated in the southern edge of Franklin’s urban growth boundary and is considered the southern gateway to the City of Franklin.
