“The Movie Night Series offers a unique experience for visitors to enjoy the last months of warm weather on the grounds at Carnton Plantation,” said Eric A. Jacobson, CEO of The Battle of Franklin Trust. “The feature film and historic Southern plantation backdrop creates a family event that movie fans are sure to enjoy.”

Gates open one hour prior to the feature presentation. Guests are invited to arrive early to set up chairs, blankets and picnics on the east lawn before the movie begins at sunset. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted and additional food and drinks will be available for purchase, including food trucks and beer vendors. Pets, tents and grills are not allowed. Parking is free and available on site.

Tickets are $5 for ages five and up, with free admittance for children under five years old. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time at Carnton Plantation or The Carter House, as well as online at the Battle of Franklin website.  Tickets are non-refundable. In the case of weather, all efforts will be made to reschedule the film.

The Movie Night Series at Carnton Plantation is presented by Southern Events, Bright Event Productions, Graphitti Signs and Graphic Studio and Mantra Artisan Ales.
