If you use Battery Lane in your commute you will need to find another way for a bit. Construction to replace the bridge over the West Fork Brown’s Creek on Battery Lane will begin June 3rd.
The work will require a total closure of both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Battery Lane between Lealand Lane and Granny White Pike. The road will be closed for approximately ninety days beginning June 3rd, 2013. Detours will be in place, also see a detour map below! Construction will not begin until the end of the school year to reduce motorist impact in the area.
