Baseball Roundup: Spring Hill Trips CPA, 4-2

High school baseball action Monday was limited due to heavy weekend rain and storms, but the Spring Hill Raiders still managed not only to play, but to remain unbeaten.

The Raiders pushed past Christ Presbyterian Academy, 4-2, to run their record to 28-0 on the season.

CPA dropped to 19-6 with the setback.

In other action involving Williamson County teams, the Independence Eagles earned their 20th victory, taking a 3-0 shutout win over Franklin on Monday. The Eagles are now 20-7, while Franklin fell to 11-14 overall.

Brentwood High School routed Dickson County, 10-1, and raised its record to 19-7 with the win.

Brentwood Academy improved to 14-8, as the Eagles edged Father Ryan, 3-2.
