Baseball Roundup: Spring Hill grabs 20th Win

Spring Hill baseball posted its 20th straight victory on Saturday, as the Raiders edged Lewis County, 6-5. Spring Hill is now 20-0 for the season as that game highlighted a busy weekend involving area baseball teams.

In other high school baseball action from Saturday, Brentwood Academy edged Grace Christian, 4-3

Amos Alonzo Stagg of Illinois, which spent the week visiting the area and playing games, shut out Brentwood High, 3-0.
Independence got past Oakland, 6-2.

Page outslugged Sycamore, 10-8, in the Middle Tennessee Invitational. The Patriots had lost to CPA, 4-3, on Friday and routed Johnson Central, Ky., 12-0 in the tournament.

Christ Presbyterian split a pair of games Saturday in the tournament. The Lions edged Johnson Central, 5-3, but lost to Covington, 4-2.
