High School baseball

Christ Presbyterian Academy wasted little time in dominating Ezell-Harding in Thursday’s high school baseball action.
The Lions took a 10-0 victory over the Eagles, improving their record to 12-3 on the season. Ezell-Harding dropped to 6-8.
Independence ran its record to 15-3 on the year, edging Amos Alonzo Stagg High School, 7-6. Stagg was visiting from Illinois.
In other action involving Williamson County teams, Fairview evened its record at 6-6 by posting a 3-0 shutout against Hillwood.
Nolensville edged Overton, 3-2, as the Knights earned just their second win of the season.
Also, Page blanked Ezell-Harding 4-0, as the Patriots picked up their second victory of the year Thursday.
BGA fell to Columbia Academy, 5-2, and MBA avenged a loss to Brentwood Academy earlier in the week, as the Big Red downed the Eagles, 8-7.
