The Brentwood Bruins knocked off the Franklin Rebels for the second straight game, taking a 10-0 victory Wednesday in high school baseball action.
The win pushes the Bruins’ record to 16-6 on the season, while Franklin dropped to 10-10 with the loss.
Battle Ground Academy tossed a shutout against Fairview in a 4-0 victory. The Wildcats are now 5-11-1 following the win, while the Yellow Jackets dropped to 7-12 overall.
Summit defeated Independence for the second straight game, as the Spartans claimed a 5-1 win over the Eagles.
Summit raised its record to 14-7 with the win, while Independence dropped to 17-5.
Dickson County downed Centennial, 6-1, as the Cougars fell to 8-11. Dickson County is now 4-16.
