barre3, a leader in the global barre fitness movement, is bringing its balanced, full-body workouts to Canteen on Carothers, a new mixed-use destination in Franklin, Tennessee. The studio is set to open Summer 2025 at 793 Crescent Centre Dr., within the thoughtfully designed retail village developed by Stockbridge Capital Group and leased by Foundry Commercial.

Co-owned by Nashville natives Annie Williams, Jessie Ganick, and Francie Corcoran, the 1,600-square-foot barre3 Franklin location builds on the success of their first studio in Brentwood. The new studio will serve as an extension of the community the trio has fostered, one grounded in movement, mindfulness, and connection.

“As a Nashville native, I grew up in Brentwood and dreamed of bringing barre3 to the community for several years,” said Jessie Ganick, co-owner of barre3 Brentwood and Franklin. “That dream came true in 2019 when we opened barre3 Brentwood, and after tough years surviving the pandemic as a small business, it feels surreal to be expanding our studio community into Franklin.”

The arrival of barre3 marks a major milestone for Canteen on Carothers, a vibrant, indoor-outdoor retail destination in the Cool Springs area. Strategically located on the east side of I-65 near the intersection of Cool Springs Blvd. and Carothers Pkwy., the 10-acre, six-building project brings exciting retail and dining options to a historically underserved part of the region.

“This is exactly the kind of brand we envisioned when leasing for Canteen began – one that energizes the space, offers meaningful lifestyle value to the community, and complements the development’s vision,” said Liz Craig, Vice President at Foundry Commercial, which is leading retail leasing for the project.

Founded in 2008, barre3 has grown to include more than 200 studios worldwide and is known for its focus on physical, mental, and emotional wellness through low-impact, high-benefit workouts. The Cool Springs studio will bring that same energy and mission to the Franklin community.

Canteen on Carothers has also announced the opening of Char, PennePazze, and Scout’s Barberhop.
