According to KPRC in Houston the car made famous by Doc Brown and Marty McFly in the 1985 classic movie “Back to the Future” will be going back into production for the first time in more than 30 years.
DeLorean Motor Company CEO Stephen Wynne said, “It’s fantastic,” Wynne told the TV station. “It’s a game-changer for us. We’ve been wanting this to happen. … It means we’re back as a car company again.”
You can buy a refurbished model for $45,000 to $55,000. Wynne hoped to sell the new ones for less than $100,000. The price will depend what modern engine he chooses.
One thing is for sure if your going to spend $100k on a car you need to keep it running smooth and clean and nobody does it better than Miles Auto Spa in Franklin.
I think as a cool option they should put in a pretend flux capacitor! Wynne hopes to have the first new DeLorean ready for action in early 2017.
