Middle and high schools will once again observe Power Mondays during the 2014-2015 school year. Power Mondays are days that set aside 45 minutes at the beginning of the school day for teacher development. Teachers will meet in curriculum clusters to discuss common goals and student success. On these days students have an extra 45 minutes before classes begin to participate in supervised activities. Parents can get involved by joining a booster club or PTO group for their child’s school. Also, WCS has switched to a different call notification provider this year, and now calls will come from individual school or the central office. For information about bus routes click HERE. Meal prices will remain the same this year with breakfast being $1.25 for elementary and $1.50 for middle and high school.
