August Health & Wellness Activities

August can be a very hot month, so take care, hydrate and enjoy some indoor activities to keep yourself healthy and fit. Health and Wellness activities are offered by the Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) Department year-round. In August, the focus is keeping indoors.

A wide variety of ongoing programs for teens and adults continues at the Franklin Recreation Complex, located at 1120 Hillsboro Road. Group Fitness classes including iBurn, Absoglutely, Zumba, Chisel and Sculpt, Pilates, Nite Club Cardio, Fit Camp Fusion, More of the Core and PILOXING are offered as walk-in pay as you attend workouts. Adults are only $6 per class and teens pay only $4.

Indoor cycling is available daily. Levels from beginner to extended ride classes are scheduled. Water Aerobics are a popular attraction Monday – Friday. Tae Kwon Do, various levels of Yoga, Plyomaniacs, Tai Chi and more fill the schedule.
