Franklin Police are seeking an armed and dangerous man, wanted following a domestic assault where several shots were fired. At 5:40pm, Monday, officers were summoned to the 100 block of Chestnut Lane where Denzel Ware had violently assaulted his mother, punching her in the face and pulling out her hair.
Ware then went outside and fired a gun into the air, several times, before going back inside and attacking his mother again. Ware fled in a charcoal gray Challenger prior to officers arriving. He remains at large, and is considered armed and dangerous.
In March, Ware was placed on probation following drug and resisting arrest convictions. Ware is now wanted on several charges, and information leading to his capture is worth up to $1,000 with a call to Crime Stoppers (615) 794-4000.
