Are You Keeping Your Resolutions?

If you need help keeping those pesky New Year’s resolutions you should jump over to the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department’s website and find something to motivate you once again.

Indoor mens and coed soccer leagues are registering now. Not into anything so physical? Then check out the Coffee & Canvas art classes. Make a masterpiece in just 2 hours as you follow instructor Samantha Nolloth in a step-by-step class. Variations are available for adults, children and groups.

Seniors have new options for exercise this year too. Check out the “Smart Moves” class designed to increase strength, promote movement and improve brain stimulation. This drop in class is held Monday and Wednesdays, call (615) 790-5719, ext. 2010 for more information. A Class to increase flexibility is available and called the “Fluid Flexibility” class and those 55 and older looking to enjoy cycling can do so in the “Training Wheels” course.

Brentwood’s indoor sports complex is again offering a variety of programs for staying fit and happy. Group fitness classes include the popular Zumba, Pilates and yoga. Water aerobics is happening again this year as well as piano and voice lessons. Take a free Tai Chi class in February.
