If so, you must check out the programming at the local library. September 23rd is the second “Express Yourself” writers group for Tweens and Teens. Author Alison Richards is hosting a series of workshops to prepare you for National Novel Writing Month in November. You don’t even have to sign up, just show up ready to write.

Characters in Coinflict” is the name of Mary Buckner’s workshop for adults. This award winning sci-fi author leads a creative writing session discussing character development, interactions, suspense and more. Drive your story forward and explore deeper truths about human nature. Saturday, September 22nd from 10 A.M. to Noon is the time, so show up ready to write.

Saturday, September 29th is an afternoon with Author Nancy Nichols. Join her as she speaks about her books that help you take charge and find Mr. Right. She is the author of Secrets of the Ultimate Husband Hunter: How to Attract Men, Enjoy Dating and Recognize the Love of Your Life, based on her own true story.

S.R.Lee will be at the library for a book signing on Sunday, September 30th from 2-4 P.M. Lee is the senior editor with contributing authors launching “Filtered Through Time,” an anthology of poetry and fiction about the 150 year effect of the Civil War.
