April is Tennessee Craft Beer Month

Casual Pint

April is Craft Beer Month in Tennessee and it’s official. The State House voted last year to designate this month long occasion. Representative Jon Lundberg initiated the resolution to recognize the major growth among brewers in the Volunteer State. Right now Tennessee is home to about 30 craft breweries, which garnered the state about $445-million in 2012. Almost 30,000 people work in the Tennessee brewing industry. And a little less official is National Craft Beer Day, which is tomorrow, April 7th.

The Casual Pint in Franklin is celebrating craft beer all month long. Owner, Ken Franse, is offering a buy two get one free special. This includes all of the 28 draft beers The Casual Pint has to offer. Many of the brews available come from breweries operating within Tennessee. So, what better way to celebrate than to take advantage of this great offer and taste some amazing beverages in the process?

The Casual Pint is located just off Hillsboro Rd behind the Zaxby’s and next to La Hacienda Mexican restaurant (1110 Hillsboro Road, Franklin).
