Apple Force Touch Coming to iPhone

The next generations of the iPhone may come equipped with Apple “Force Touch” technology, which would allow users to control certain aspects of the device with how hard they press on the screen.

Bloomberg reported recently that production has started on the iPhone 6s and they will feature the pressure-sensitive technology. This technology was first featured on the Apple Watch and is available on the most recent version of the MacBook.

While they won’t change much on the outside, the new iPhones equipped with this technology will welcome apps that use Apple Force Touch.

According to the Bloomberg report: “The release of iPhones last year with bigger displays brought Apple in line with comparable offerings from Samsung and HTC Corp., helping meet rising demand in China and other Asian countries, where consumers prefer more screen real estate.”
