Another Downtown Franklin Main Street Storefront Closes

HeyDay

Last week, we reported that Inspirations on Main in downtown Franklin was closing at the end of April, because they lost their lease due to the purchase of the building by a corporate entity.

Yesterday, their next door neighbor HeyDay, located at 334 Main St, placed a sign in their window stating a moving sale. April 30th will be their last day in downtown Franklin. HeyDay has plans to move their store but details on where they are moving have not been announced yet.

Opening in 2009, HeyDay is a gift store with items ranging from kitchen, entertaining, baby gifts and women’s clothing. Currently, items in the store are discounted from 25% – 75% off. There are still new shipments arriving at the store that will also be discounted.

Rumors are circulating that both Inspirations on Main and HeyDay will become a new restaurant on Main Street but there has been no confirmation of that at this time.

If so, it will join Biscuit Love as one of the new downtown Franklin restaurants. Biscuit Love will occupy the former Lillie Belle’s location just off Main Street at 132 Third Avenue South, later this year.  Biscuit Love first began as a food truck in Franklin owned by Karl and Sarah Worley. They opened their first brick-and-mortar location in 2015 in the Gulch followed by a recent opening in Hillsboro Village.  The Franklin location will be their first location in Williamson County.

  1. If they keep running the stores off and just bring in restaurants, it will change the entire feel of downtown. People come to stroll, shop and eat.
