College application deadlines are approaching, and that means it’s also time for the annual WCS College Fair.
On Wednesday, September 19, more than 200 college representatives will have booths at the CoolSprings Galleria from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
“This is a great way to get information from several different colleges quickly and conveniently,” said WCS Counseling Specialist Becky Mitchell.
WCS acknowledges there is a holiday conflict on September 19. The Tennessee Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers assigned the date based on the number of college fairs in the Nashville area, according to Mitchell. The district will work to hold future College Fairs on non-holidays, said Mitchell.
If you’re unable to attend the WCS College Fair, the Metro Public School District’s College Fair is September 20 from 3 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Howard C. Gentry Complex at Tennessee State University.
Students may pre-register at the Go To College Fairs website and follow the registration instructions to receive a personalized barcode that college representatives may scan to expedite visits and eliminate paperwork.
