The Williamson County Animal Control & Adoption Center (WCACAC) is celebrating October with “Barktoberfest.” On Saturday, October 12th from, 12p-5p, on the grounds of Animalia Health and Wellness, 1973 New Highway 96 West near the Westhaven community, the WCACAC will host Barktoberfest 2013.
Barktoberfest is in celebration of the shelter’s $31 days of October promotion. All pet adoption fees will be reduced to $31 for the entire month. Barktoberfest is presented by Nashville PAW Magazine. This event has been called “Middle Tennessee’s biggest Howl-o-ween festival for dogs and their people,” and features live music and entertainment, over 50 vendors, food trucks and more.
One of the center’s dogs will be featured in the Adoptable Pet Parade happening at 1:30 p.m. Festival admission is free so come enjoy the event and check out the schedule online. There is no Trick only the Treat for you and your new family member to take home and love.
