Animal Center Kittens Need Your Donations

Kittens are in high supply at the Williamson County Animal Center, and they need the help of the community to keep all the little ones fed and happy.

With more than 50 kittens taking residence at the Animal Center in Franklin, there is a great need for food, toys and treats. Kittens of all ages come into the Animal Center. Some still have need of milk, some are being weaned and some are able to eat wet food.

Here is a list of some needed donation items:

  • KMR brand milk replacer
  • Fancy Feast wet food – fish or chickenkmr milk replacement kittens
  • Gerber baby food – chicken
  • Beds
  • Toys
  • Towels and wash cloths

The KMR milk replacer is available at most major pet stores, where most of the other supplies are available as well. You can also order from Amazon and have the items shipped straight to the Animal Center, or donate to Animal Center kittens by dropping by the facility.

WCAC animal center kittensRight now, kittens are so numerous that the Animal Center has a two for one special for kittens. Adopt one kitten, take home a playmate for free. Animal Center kittens are available for a $50 adoption, and the rate for adult cats has been reduced to $25 for a limited time during the summer while Animal Center kittens are in abundance.

The Williamson County Animal Center is located at 106 Claude Yates Drive in Franklin and is open for adoptions from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
