On Friday, Grace Christian Academy’s Austin Amor accumulated by himself what some teams would consider a big offensive night.
The junior quarterback accounted for nine total touchdowns (5 pass, 4 run) and 482 total yards (226 passing, 116 rushing and 140 returning) in the Lions’ 77-60 win over Mt. Pleasant.
Amor now has 1,328 yards passing and 498 rushing on the season. He’s thrown 13 touchdowns with just five interceptions.
The win takes GCA to 2-4 in Region 4-1A. The Lions currently sit in sixth place in the standings with games against Huntland (3-4, 2-3) and Fayetteville (5-2, 4-1) at home left in the regular season.
